Course Summary: This course covers an introduction to Nanotechnology
Standards. The presentations by the expert members of
Canadian Advisory Committee/Canadian Subcommitee of
ISO-TC229/IEC-TC113 will help individuals and organizations
understand and practice these Standards. The attendees will
learn to: (i) recognize the importance of Nanotechnology
Standards; (ii) build their knowledge base with Standards ready
to practice; (iii) gain knowledge on Standards development
process through a case study; (iv) enrich their Nanotechnology
vocabulary, strengthen measurement practices, understand the
significance of EHS impacts and (v) get involved in responsible
nanotech product development.
