Course Summary: This short course covers a brief introduction on energy
consumptions and environmental pollution, heat transfer
enhancement techniques, a comprehensive overview of solar energy
and radiation, description of the solar collectors with
emphasizing on flat plate collectors performance. The course
also includes a short introduction to nanotechnology, nanofluid
as a new heat transfer media and possibilities to increase the
efficiency of flat plate collectors using nanotechnology.
